Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.52%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.52%.

The best performers of the session on the were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:), which rose 1.19% or 690.00 points to trade at 58,490.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:) added 1.07% or 12.00 points to end at 1,129.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:) was up 0.71% or 22.00 points to 3,117.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 2.42% or 128.00 points to trade at 5,172.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.29% or 143.00 points to end at 6,092.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) was down 2.28% or 16.40 points to 702.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 281 to 163 and 37 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.29% or 143.00 to 6,092.00. Shares in Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.28% or 16.40 to 702.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.75% or 2.16 to $76.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.34% or 1.99 to hit $83.15 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1,851.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.54, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.06% to 3.79.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.83.
